I AM ENOUGH
Like many of you I’m sure, I’m always on the hunt to improve myself. Not because of some misguided belief of not being good enough or happy enough etc. (yawn) ) but simply to curate better habits, better life skills, spend less, eat as much cake as possible…oh, is that just me on the cake one..? Ok!
Since December last year, I made a few choices to help me make the most of my day;
- Go to the gym at 7am instead of 8
- Eat lighter lunches and dinners
- Don’t make myself wrong or feel bad because I decide to splurge
- Be present in conversations
- Be more creative because I love it, not because it pays.
These little tweaks here and there have impacted my approach and attitude to each day. Things feel that little bit easier, brighter and a f*ck load more fun! My body is getting fitter, my skin is brighter (aside from any losing battles against winter on my FACE), I am more engaged with those around me, seeing the sun rise most mornings and the cherry on the cake? I’m writing songs and singing more after a hiatus, filming vlogs, acting more, reading scripts and reading novels.
