I tell stories—on the page, on screen and behind the mic.
I’m Raychel Addo, a British-Ghanaian actor, journalist, presenter and host based in London. Trained at RADA, Identity School of Acting and The Actors Studio, I work across television and film. My screen credits include EastEnders, The Dumping Ground, Ludwig and Nova Jones, with forthcoming appearances in productions for Apple TV+ and Netflix.
As a journalist and writer, I’m drawn to honest stories about motherhood, ambition, identity and creative life. My work has been published by Spotlight, and I’m also the author of the children’s book Mummy, Do You Love Me?
I created and host Milk & Mummies, a podcast exploring what happens to women’s identities, relationships and ambitions after becoming mothers. Becoming a mother didn’t diminish my ambition—it sharpened the stories I wanted to tell.
Whether I’m interviewing a guest, writing a personal feature or stepping into a character, the aim is the same: to create work that is truthful, entertaining and makes people feel seen.
