Like many people in 2020, I found myself knee deep in Covid restrictions and out of work. Everything I did involved working in close proximity to people and it had all shut down. I couldn’t sing in front of masses of people any more, I couldn’t work with designers or other models. Acting required stringent Covid tests once production picked up and writing had also slowed down.

I got thinking and went even further to speak to friends about it. It was great to connect more with my friendship circle as we all were final in the same time zone and suddenly with more time on our hands. Through the laughter, copious glasses of wine on Zoom and House Party – an idea to host a podcast was born.

Be An Adult They Said is a podcast about all things adulting in London with some of my besties. It’s a whole lot of social commentary filled with laughter and even more laughter where required!! Podcasting has been a breath of much needed fresh air and it’s a booming community to be a part of!!

I never thought hanging out with my friends online would be this fun, ridiculous, exciting and hilarious. It’s easy, fun and apps like Clubhouse are changing the game even more so.
