Mac Cosmetics is a staple part of my make up diet. Fact. It was the first ‘expensive’ make up range I bought from as a teen and I’ve remain a loyal customer ever since. As you get older and more confident in your make up choices, you do start to branch out and explore the other gems out there. For this post however, I’m keeping it Mac!
Make your Glow compete with the Sun and the Stars!
The Mineralize Skinfinish range from Mac Cosmetics includes a range of mineral complex products that adds highlights to the face and body. Perfectly Lit, and Gold Deposit are the gems in the pictures below.
How I Apply My Highlighter:
My blusher or highlighter is usually one of the last things I apply to finish off my chosen look. I find the steps below help it set and last longer.
- After your chosen look, set you make up with Mac Cosmetics Fix +.
- Apply your highlighter straight after- you should see an immediate richness in colour.
- You’re all set!
From my experience of using the products below, I find that the durability is quite high. The products remains dutifully placed where it was applied and lasts though out the day. These highly pigmented highlighters are bound to set you off as a gentle stoke accents your chosen areas to highlight, sets off a contour or in this case adds more intensity to you summer tan!
Perfectly Lit (£24) is a sheer wash of golden pink with a slight fine pink and gold pearl radiance.
Gold deposit (£24) brings a reflective golden-bronze glow to your highlighter. It has a good ‘kick’ to it, so there’s no disguising Gold Deposit. It’s a bold, golden choice – perfect to reach that ultimate glow!
Some of my other highlighters of choice are the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brush-on Highlighter in ‘Peach Nectar for a rose gold tint and Sun Beam, from Benefit Cosmetics. This is a golden bronze highlighter that gives a more natural, radiant glow. Simply dot & blend over makeup on cheeks & brow bones for a bronzed glow.
Just a couple of products I though you might like to invest in! Take a peak and experiment!
