Time to Chill
It has been a while since my last post (apologies), so I wanted to kick things off with some calm, some rejuvenation and with some well-being. I decided to reach out to a few sources as I wanted to explore what you could do to add a touch of luxury to your every day. Going to a spa for the day or weekend may not be feasible for some people, so I wanted to put a series together of what you could do at home, regardless of your budget.
VOYA: Get Glowing
VOYA’S Get Glowing Illuminating Clay Mask is formulated to help brighten, rejuvenate and purify the skin to give a radiant glow. It’s important to note it is made from 100% natural/ organic ingredients with key ingredients being:
- Rosemary and Eucalyptus: works to deeply moisturise the skin, supports healthy collagen development for skin elasticity restoration. They also have an anti-inflammatory effect to soothe and calm irritated skin.
- Seaweed: This mineral rich seaweed delivers a range of beauty benefits to your complexion. Containing high concentrations of countless minerals and vitamins, the skin is gently cleansed, whilst the seaweed’s anti-ageing capabilities restore a subtle glow to the complexion to leave it feeling hydrated and silky soft.
Do Try This At Home
When trying new skin care products, I tend to do it when I don’t have any shoots or trips coming up. As this was my first experience of the organic seaweed based skin care brand VOYA, I made sure to use it twice a week to introduce it into my routine. I do love me a clay mask, and anything that promises illumination, I was pretty excited to try. The *Get Glowing Illuminating Clay Mask (£32) packaging is simple, chic and fits quite nicely in the palm of your hand. A little goes a long way, so don’t be fooled by the 50ml tub. It has a lovely, fresh scent that isn’t overpowering too.
After using the mask, there was a cool, tingling sensation from it and I found that my skin felt soft and smooth. I felt that any enlarged pores were much less noticeable and I would recommend this for anyone trying to control excess sebum or has a problem skin.
