I began to work on a summer lip series so I reached as far and wide to see what was out there! I was introduced to MINXX, an Australian cosmetics brand with a pretty colourful range of lip shades. It’s cruelty and paraben free (YES!) and ranges from true pinks, gorgeous plums and purples to fierce and sexy reds.

MINXX was created to eliminate the struggle of finding the perfect shade of lipstick (or gloss) to suit every mood! With an offer of 46 neutrals, nudes, purples, pinks, reds and oranges, I’d say they’ve risen to the challenge!!
I was kindly sent some samples to test and they do live up to their reputation of being pigmented, long-wearing and non sticky.
Surprise is a very rick and pretty pink, as demonstrated below! I have to say, living in London and trying to film can prove to be very difficult when the sun plays hide and seek with clouds lol! Nonetheless, I look forward to showing more of the other lip shades in future looks and videos!

Tease is another pink but on the cooler side for me, it was the most reminiscent of a nude out of the samples received. Sunset is true to its name and is a rich, dusky orange while Rebel is a cooler red lip.
