On the Go…
Today, I wanted to share a few products with you that have become handbag favourites of mine. I don’t leave the house without them and when I do, I feel a bit out of sorts. It’s like leaving your watch or phone at home.
Its a Perfect 8!
First up is the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Intensive Lip Repair Balm (£20). I prefer the little tub to the tube as the product in the tube is too greasy for me. I picked mine up from Boots and I find this balm to be deeply hydrating that gives intense moisture. It’s what I use to prep my lips before wearing a lipstick or gloss.
Next, I have the Mac Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Dark Deep (£24). This is a compact face powder that provides a natural matte finish. I use it for touch ups throughout the day and night when I want to freshen up a bit. It’s very light and the matte aspect is perfect for me as I do have combination skin. It comes with a mirror so I don’t need to carry one around (although I do!).
I use the Real Techniques Buffing brush to apply the powder, a quick dab here and a quick dab there. I’m sorted. This brush was part of a set I bought at Boots – the name: Real Techniques Core Collection 1403 (£10.99).
I don’t often need to touch up my brows but after a gym session, it’s a must. My handbag fave includes a spooli and the L’oreal Brow Artist Shaper in 03 Brunette (£5.49). It’s an eyebrow pencil on one end and also has a fix and finish wax ‘pencil’ on the other end. Perfect for a quick fix when my muscles are aching!
I carry a mini Lancome Hypnôse Mini Mascara, something I got for free with a selected Lancome purchase I believe and a well-used eye kohl from Mac Cosmetics in Smolder (£14).
I also carry the L’Extraordinaire by Color Riche, in 600 Nude Vibrato (£8.99). It’s a liquid lipstick colour from L’Oréal Paris that gives high shine and intense colour. I usually pair this up with a Mac Cosmetics lip liner in Chestnut (£13).
What are your must-have handbag essentials? Have you tried any of my recommendations above?!
