The Learning Curve

What I learned on my trip to Berlin was that….I needed to get better at taking pictures of architecture abroad (well…architecture in general to be perfectly honest). More importantly however, Berlin was simply full of surprises!

Berlin Through My Lens

Now, up until this point, I had never been to Germany before. Here in the UK, you learn a lot about its history – some WWI, a lot about WWII so you feel like you know a lot (well I did anyway) but of course, nothing can substitute experience and also …. visiting the country in your own time period. After all, everything I had learned was in a text-book in preparation for tests.

Below is a teeny snapshot of my journey. I was amazed at the diversity of cultures, the history, the food, the night life, the people, the communities, THE WEATHER and the cost of living.
