Adele makes Billboard history by becoming the first female singer to top the artist, album and singles list in the same year.

Adele surpassed Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna in the magazine’s prestigious Best Artist and No.1 Billboard 200 Album (with ’21′).  Not only that, the editors at TIME and Rolling Stone magazines have released their selections for the best albums of the year, with Adele‘s 21 hitting the top spot on both lists.
